Situated in north Greenfield, Massachusetts, on 30 acres of picturesque land, the farm is home to a variety of breeds of sheep, ducks, and chickens and is managed with the help of its border collies. The farm operates in an environmentally friendly, sustainable manner and animals are raised free range without the use of hormones or antibiotics. The sheep are naturally raised on pasture to produce lean meat and clean quality fleeces for hand spinning or felting. Ducks are free range, producing an abundance of tasty and nutritional eggs. There are several hundred feet of low maintenance perennial borders featuring many different cultivars of daylilies. The border collies help with the daily farm chores and overall management of the flocks of sheep and ducks, while the guard dog keeps the predators away. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
